Crafted in collaboration with Tobias McIntosh, the founder of CSC (Crenshaw Skate Club), the Nike Dunk Low SB associated with the Crenshaw Skate Club introduces a tan suede upper intricately overlaid with cracked leather accents. These overlays ingeniously evoke the presence of a prominent local symbol, the legendary Crenshaw Square sign, located within his Los Angeles neighborhood. To further infuse personal significance, the translucent rubber outsole, delicately tinged with blue, and the inner tongue incorporate an artistic representation that pays homage to Tobey’s childhood, portraying a scene from his daycare days. This essence of collaboration is echoed in the alternating branding showcased on the tongue tags and back tabs, alternating between Nike and CSC logos.
